      Yes. The course is designed so it can be done independently but it’s great if a parent wants to get involved. Many young players find it helpful to have a parent in a supporting role. Of course, players need to master and learn the Individual Fundamental, but we have found that parents who also understand the concepts have so much more to connect on when reflecting on their child's game.

      Parents can also help their child go through the Online Course, especially the younger players. They can also help with the lessons and any exercises the child needs to do.

      However, it is crucial to let the child lead the learning experience.

      One big mistake many young players make is trying to learn too many things at once. A great coach will not give too little or too much information at any one time. For this reason, when you sign up, you get access to your first two Individual Fundamentals. Then, the following month you get the next two Individual Fundamentals and so on.

      In the first six months, you will have learned all 12 Individual Fundamentals. You then get another six months to continue to learn, revisit, practice, and master each fundamental.

    • When can I access the Position Specific Fundamentals?

      The Position Specific Course will be released in 2024. It builds on what you have learned in the Individual Fundamentals and teaches you what you need to learn and understand to master your position. What a Left-Back needs to understand about her position is very different from what a Right-Winger needs to understand about his position.

    • Is the course suitable for goalkeepers?

      Yes. The course is suitable for all positions. The fundamentals are key as today's goalkeepers are required to execute the Individual Fundamentals as efficiently as outfield players.
      It is vital goalkeepers understand all fundamentals to improve their game understanding. Gaining this information also helps them predict, understand and stop opponents from scoring and to communicate effectively with their outfield teammates.

    Players Ages 6-10 FAQ

    • My child is 6 years old and is just starting soccer. Is Kairos right for them?

      We don't recommend players under 10 years old attempt to learn all 12 Individual Fundamentals. Why? Because a number of these Fundamentals will be too complicated and technical for young players. We feel that it wouldn't be ethical to charge for concepts that are too advanced to be useful.

    • At what age should my child start learning the Individual Fundamentals?

      If your child is 10 years old and has been playing soccer before, typically, we would recommend that they can do the Individual Fundamentals Course.

      The annual membership investment can be done using a one-off payment or split across 4 payments. This provides access to the 12 Individual Fundamentals, each with 5 Concepts, plus exercises, quizzes, and drills.

    • Will I be charged taxes?
